Easiest and quickest might have a high correlation, but are usually inversely proportional to lucrativeness . Also, the only areas that require scrolls are the elite areas in Cantha, The Deep and Urgoz's Warren. Access scrolls exist for The Underworld and The Fissure of Woe, but most times you can just pay the 1k entry fee. "Dungeons" - in the sense of "chained instances" that you find in Eye of the North - are all free to enter, though usually you need a quest to progress through it. That information can all be found easily on either wiki.
A couple of areas I suggest: Fissure of Woe is actually very easy for an elite area. With two people and six heroes, you can probably get your time down to around an hour and a half with no cons. As for dungeons, I got my HM Oola's Lab time down to around 55 minutes from Rata Sum to end chest using a standard, balanced H/H build.
Last thing: the 2 Man Discordway team as listed on wiki brings a lot to the table and is a pretty universal build, but it's not the best build in the world. Try to learn what constitutes a good build and then experiment around. Maybe one of you can run a standard Discord setup and the other can experiment with some other stuff. I'm not saying it won't work fine, but I've always enjoyed trying out new builds and setups, and some of the more challenging elite areas that you will want to do will require specific types of builds to counter what's in the area. You'll want to learn so you can progress and eventually be able to do every area!
